Following the recent extension of the open enrollment period, UAMS employees experienced issues when accessing the wellness program website on umr.com and were unable to opt in. To allow for sufficient time to opt into the program, the UMR enrollment website was reopened at 10:30 a.m. on 11/7.
The opportunity for employees to enroll in the new wellness program has now been extended until 5 p.m. CST on Dec. 1. This extension applies to the wellness program only – open enrollment for health, dental, and other benefits in Workday has now closed.
If you are enrolled in the Classic or Premier Plan, you automatically qualify for a lower medical plan out-of-pocket limit by opting into the wellness program. To opt in you must first log in to umr.com and opt in for the Live Well Reward$ wellness program by the new deadline, or you will not be eligible for savings until 2025. Instructions for completing this process can be found in the Wellness Program section of the 2024 Open Enrollment website – after opting in you should see a gold star on the page signifying successful completion. Once you opt into the wellness program, you will be able to submit the Tobacco Pledge (and other wellness activities) after Jan. 1, 2024.
This program will allow participants to earn up to $500 in online rewards as well as cut your annual out-of-pocket in half. Read more about out-of-pocket expenses. Read more about the online rewards.
