Ask the Dietitian

If so, ask our experts here at UAMS! Our Outpatient dietitians are willing to help by offering answers to your nutrition questions via email directly to you. Email outpatientdietitian@uams.edu to ask a question and receive a response directly. Make sure to put “Nutrition Question” in the subject line. Questions for the dietitian should be general in nature. For prescriptive diets, you must schedule an appointment by calling 501-526-6477.

For those in Little Rock, the Employee Nutrition Clinic is a quicker way to get an appointment! Call: 501-526-6477 *Those not in Little Rock have the same benefit, appointments must be with a dietitian in the UMR network.

Employee Nutrition Program

Real Appeal Program (Health Coaching)

Real Appeal is available to our members at no cost. Our approach is based on decades of clinical weight loss research focused on simple steps combined with personalized tools and support. Real Appeal members who attended four or more sessions during the program lost 10 pounds on average. Talk to your doctor before starting any weight loss program.

Dining Options on Campus
