The purpose of student organizations at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is to provide opportunities for the enhancement of academic, professional, and service aspects of student life through participation in group programs and activities. Every UAMS student has the opportunity to become involved in campus organizations.

Intramural Sports

The mission of the UAMS Intramurals and Recreation Program is to develop student life outside of the classroom, by providing students of UAMS the opportunity to participate in recreational and wellness activities on a competitive or recreational level.

All events, programs, activities, and facilities are open to all students enrolled at UAMS without regard to race, sex, religion, age, or disability.

ASG was formed to legislate and administer student policy. ASG works to make the University a more helpful environment for students in both academic and extra-curricular areas. “We represent the students to the administration and serve as a unified voice to benefit the students.”
