The role of the Financial Aid Office is to actively assist students in seeking and securing financial resources by providing financial information and services in a professional and individualized manner. The role of the Bursar’s Office is to coordinate the disbursement of awarded financial aid, process tuition payments, and manage UAMS campus based loans.

UARK Federal Credit Union was founded in 1965 by the University of Arkansas Physical Plant. Since that time we have expanded to serve various medical, municipal, non-profit and industrial employer groups. Members’ immediate family members are also eligible.

The University of Arkansas Retirement Plan, or “UARP”, is a 403(b)/457(b) defined contribution plan. That means your benefits are based on contributions made to the plan by you and UAMS, plus the growth or interest earnings of those contributions. This is the retirement savings plan for UAMS employees and those at other University of Arkansas campuses. Employees can elect TIAA and/or Fidelity as their investment provider/record-keeper.
